Karaburun, Kuzey-G\u00fcney do\u011frultulu bir kara par\u00e7as\u0131 olarak y\u00fcksekli\u011fi 1000 metreyi a\u015fan y\u00fckseltiye sahiptir. \u0130zmir K\u00f6rfezi\u2019nin giri\u015finde, Sak\u0131z ve Midilli adalar\u0131n\u0131n kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda yer alan yar\u0131mada, Homeros\u2019un Odysseia\u2019s\u0131nda bahsedildi\u011fi gibi, g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc r\u00fczg\u00e2rlara sahip, tar\u0131m potansiyelinin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck oldu\u011fu, sarp ve engebeli ola\u011fand\u0131\u015f\u0131 \u00f6zelliklere sahiptir. Di\u011fer yandan jeolojik ve ekolojik \u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fi \u00e7e\u015fitli hammaddelerin olu\u015fmas\u0131na imkan vermi\u015f ve \u00e7a\u011flar boyunca insanlar\u0131 b\u00f6lgeye \u00e7ekmi\u015ftir. 2015-2023 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Karaburun\u2019da y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz arkeolojik y\u00fczey ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 bu marjinal co\u011frafyan\u0131n bilinmeyen ge\u00e7mi\u015fini ortaya koydu. Karaburun\u2019daki en eski insan izleri g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczden 250 bin y\u0131l \u00f6nceye, yani Alt Paleolitik D\u00f6nem\u2019e kadar uzanmaktad\u0131r. Buzul \u00c7a\u011f\u0131 avc\u0131-toplay\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131 i\u00e7in uzun zaman u\u011frak yeri olan Karaburun, Holosen D\u00f6nem boyunca k\u0131rsal nitelikli \u00e7ok say\u0131da yerle\u015fmeye ev sahipli\u011fi yapm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu s\u00fcre\u00e7te birey <\/em><em>olarak insan\u0131n bilgiyle ili\u015fkisi ve toplumun bilgiyle kurdu\u011fu ili\u015fki de k\u00f6kl\u00fc d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmlere u\u011fruyor. \u0130nsan\u0131n ve <\/em><em>toplumun 20.yy\u2019daki bilgiyi arayan, bilgiye dayal\u0131 ve bilginin ak\u0131lc\u0131 niteli\u011fine dayal\u0131 karakteristikleri, 21.yy\u2019da <\/em><em>daha \u00e7ok duyular\u0131 ve hissiyata odakl\u0131 hale geldi. Bilginin, hakikatin, ger\u00e7ekli\u011fin merkezi yeri sars\u0131l\u0131yor. Genel <\/em><em>y\u00f6nleri b\u00f6yle olan bu d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00fcn sorgulanmas\u0131, gelecekte nas\u0131l bir insan ve toplumun kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za \u00e7\u0131kaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131n <\/em><em>kavranabilmesi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan son derece \u00f6nemlidir. Akli ve mant\u0131ki olan i\u015flemlerin yapay zek\u00e2 temelli sistemlere <\/em><em>devredilmesi, s\u00fcreci bu y\u00f6n\u00fcyle de sorunlu k\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Bu s\u00fcre\u00e7, duyum, alg\u0131lama ve yorumlama a\u015famalar\u0131n\u0131 i\u00e7erir. Duyum, \u00e7evresel uyar\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131n alg\u0131lanmas\u0131d\u0131r; alg\u0131lama, bu bilgilerin beyin taraf\u0131ndan i\u015flenmesidir; yorumlama ise bireyin ge\u00e7mi\u015f deneyimlerine dayal\u0131 olarak bilgileri anlamland\u0131rmas\u0131d\u0131r. Alg\u0131da se\u00e7icilik, belirli uyaranlara odaklanmam\u0131z\u0131 sa\u011flarken di\u011ferlerini arka plana iter. Shannon\u2019\u0131n informasyon entropisi ile termodinamik entropi bug\u00fcn salt gev\u015fek bir analoji de\u011fil, tersine yayg\u0131n olarak bir ve ayn\u0131 yasa olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. Karadelik informasyon paradoksu (black hole information paradox) olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan problemin konuyla do\u011frudan bir ba\u011flant\u0131s\u0131 mevcut.
